Summer events in lovely Frederiksværk
Summer Market & Wednesday Markets.
Summer in Frederiksværk
In 2026 we are (tentatively) ready with two different events spread over 8 summer days.
Classens Summer Market 10 - 11 July is a cosy event with activities for children and adults. The market typically features stalls with handicrafts, unique goods, food and drink and more. There is entertainment for both children and adults during the two market days. A meeting point for locals and tourists alike to meet, make bargains and enjoy the great atmosphere. Click on the “Summer Market” link for exhibitors and the daily programmes.
Frederiksværk Wednesday market Held every Wednesday in July and the 1st Wednesday in August. We have fun with flea stalls in the market square and down the pedestrianised street. There's live music and entertainment for the kids. See more at the link “Wednesday market”

Do you want to join us?
- Book a stadium
Whether you sew children's clothes, make pottery or a good schnapps or honey, you are welcome to apply for a stand at Classens Summer Market.
We also have stands with products that are not our own production, but still maintain a high level of quality.

Under the menu item Wednesday Market you can read more about participating on these days.
- Become a sponsor!
Sponsoring summer events in Frederiksværk is an investment in the local community and in the city's community. Culture costs money - artists, sound, lights and electricity must be paid to create great experiences.
With sponsorship support, the events can grow and attract even more visitors to the city.
At the same time, companies gain visibility and show their support for community, life and development. Read more about sponsorships in the menu under “our sponsors”
- Become a Volunteer
Become a volunteer helper at our summer events in Frederiksværk and help create life and community in the city. Everyone on the team works voluntarily and our events are non-profit, no one has to make money, and any profits go back into new initiatives.
As a volunteer, you're an important part of the team behind the experiences - from setting up and helping out in the stalls to showing stallholders and visitors to their seats.
You'll enjoy new relationships, good laughs and a special experience of making a difference. Together we create unforgettable summer days. Become a part of our volunteers here: LINK (Facebook group)
